Anyone, anywhere in the world. All you need is a phone, tablet or computer with an internet connection and an email address to create your free account.

No. Most courses are written for beginners. If a course expects you to know something first, it is listed under “What you need” on the course page.

Each course page shows the total learning time. There are no deadlines — you study when it suits you and your progress is saved automatically.

Many courses are free to learn and you pay only if you want the certificate. Others have a one-time course fee that includes everything. The price is always shown on the course page before you enrol.

By M-Pesa. Go to Lipa na M-Pesa → Pay Bill, enter business number 880100 and account number 1001205752 (Zalika Africa), then type the M-Pesa confirmation code on the checkout page. We confirm payments during working hours and email you once your access is unlocked.

Prices are charged in Kenya shillings; the dollar figure next to each price is an estimate. If you cannot use M-Pesa, contact us and we will help you arrange payment.

Open My learning → Payments to see its status. If it still says “Awaiting confirmation” after one working day, contact us with your M-Pesa code.

Finish every lesson and pass each module quiz and the final exam. The pass mark is shown on the course page. Your certificate is then issued automatically (after the certificate fee, if the course has one).

You can retake any quiz or exam as many times as you need. Review the lessons, then try again.

Every certificate has a serial number and QR code. Scanning the code, or entering the serial on our verification page, shows the learner's name, the course and the date it was issued.

No. It is a certificate of completion from Zalika Africa Institute showing what you studied and that you passed the assessments. Some jobs and countries also require a licence or registration — check the rules where you plan to work.

Certificates use the name on your profile at the moment they are issued. Correct your name under My learning → Profile before finishing a course. For a certificate that is already issued, contact us.
